Day I
Arrival in Kyiv.Check-in. City tour.

Day II
Visit to Holy Sophia Catedral, St. Andrew’s Church, walk along Andriyivsky Uzviz (Kyiv Montmartre’). In the evening optional (National Opera and Ballet House).

Day III
Visit to Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra (Kyivan Cave Monastery). In the evening optional programme.

Day IV
Visit to the open air Museum of Folk Architecture and Traditional Lifestyle of Ukraine (Pyrogiv Village). Dinner at a Kyiv restaurant with Ukrainian cuisine. Departure to Lviv. (train).

Day V
Arrival in Lviv. Check – in. Panoramic city tour including a visit to the Museum of Folk Architecture and Folkways. In the evening optional;
(I. Franko Opera and Balet Theatre).

Day VI
Visit to the Olesko Castle.

Day VII
Visit ot the State Historical and Architectural Reserve; St. George’s Cathedral (Sobor Svyatogo Yury), Bernardynsky Kostel and Orthodox Churches and Monastery. Departure to Odesa (train).

Day VIII
Arrival in Odesa. Check – in. City tour.

Day IX
Excursion to Stara Odesa (The Old Odesa) State Historical and Architectural Reserve. In the evening optional; (Opera and Balet Theatre).

Day X
Trip to Bilhorod- Dnistrovsky (Akerman Fortress).

Day XI
One day rest at the seaside. Departure to Kyiv.
 

 

KYIV - CHERNIVTSI- LVIV
(10 days)

Day I
Arrival in Kyiv. Check – in City tour including s visit to Holy Sophia Cathedral.

Day II
Visit to Kyiv- Pechersk Lavra (Kyivan Cave Monastery) including Great Bell Tower, Near caves Far caves; the spring of St. Antonius and saint icons.

Day III
City tour including a visit to Kyiv’s Orthodox monasteries, churches (Bratsky (Brotherhood) Monastery’ Florivsky and Pokrova Convents, St. Cyril’s Church, St. El’ Church, ets).

Day IV
Departure to Chernivtsi (trip through Zhytomyr, Khmelnytsky, Camyanets–Podilsky). Arrival in Chernivtsi. Check – in.

Day V
Visit to the restored monasteries and churches of the city.

Day VI
Trip to Khreshchatyk Monastery, where first in Bukovyna Christianity was adopted.

Day VII
Trip to Bila Krynytsya - the center of Russian old- believers, visit to the town’s unique monastery and relics.

Day VIII
Departure to Lviv . On the way visit to Pochayivska Lavra (Monastery), the largest Orthodox shrine in Volyn and the second largest in Ukraine after the Kyivan Cave Monastery. Arrival in Lviv. Check – in.

Day IX
City –tour including a visit to Christian sacred places.

Day X
Departure of tourists - pilgrims.
